Cymatics, like Yamaha is at its essence a collaboration between machinery and musicianship.
The aim for this brief was to generate a new digital advertising campaign for Yamaha’s full range of products. As consumers were to be known as ‘Yamaha players’, an app was created through augmented reality to offer the public a chance to win one of many Yamaha products. This was achieved through an interactive memory game using notes created from the visual language of cymatics that would appear having initially downloaded the app and scanned one of the "PLAY TO WIN" posters. Cymatic notes will quickly glance upon screen before ‘players’ have the opportunity to enter each note in the correct order. If played correctly, winners will automatically be directed to the Yamaha website to fill out their details to be entered into a prize draw.
